A bijou “one-off” image of a disused windmill near Saumur in the Loire Valley, France. Created by utilising the original Polaroid 669 “peel-apart” film and transfering the image carrying negative, under pressure, to a piece of dampened water-colour paper, this delicate transfer process destroys the original negative but in doing so creates a unique positive image.
The size of this “one-off” image (printed in 1988) is approximately 3 x 4 inches (8 x 10 cms) on 5 x 7 (12.5 x 17.5 cms) Windsor & Newton water-colour paper.
Note that the on-screen image has less visible detail, slightly different contrast, colour tone and overall sharpness compared to the real photograph. However, if you like the on-screen image you will love the actual signed photograph framed on your wall.
The print is supplied un-mounted and packed between multiple layers of cardboard for secure airmail delivery to most countries in the world. The price includes FREE airmail postage but Insurance is NOT included - it can be added at cost if requested - please e-mail for details and alternative rates.
